The Cataldo Education Center (CEC) develops and delivers training
to EMS, healthcare professionals, and allied industries requiring related training.
Basic Life Support
The AHA’s Basic Life Support (BLS) course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
Emergency Medical Technician Program
The Cataldo Ambulance Emergency medical technician (EMT) program is based on comprehensive outcomes-based curricula. It is designed to prepare graduates to become compassionate critical thinkers and field providers, committed to lifelong learning.
ACLS
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS), emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The hands-on instruction and simulated cases in this advanced course are designed to help enhance existing skills.
Advanced Patient Simulation
The Cataldo Education Center utilizes advanced patient simulation tools allowing students to gain hands on experience in a variety of simulated situations. CEC resources include SimMan® and SimBaby™ simulator manikins as well as a fully equipped, mobile simulation unit.
On Site Training
Our educators can come come to you! Boston-area businesses, healthcare facilities, and municipalities can request custom, on-site training related to a variety of subjects, including preparedness and first-aid courses.
